While hunkered down in the deep back woods of Oklahoma in 2020, Brother Micheal decided to write songs inspired by the cosmic cowboys of his childhood. Enlisting the help of his actual brother, Brother Kevin, the two set out to make a sound that brought back childhood memories of listening to the songs of the outlaws, punks, and cowboys they grew up admiring.
Themes of heartbreak, small-town life, substance abuse, and the ever-changing landscape of their native Oklahoma can be found throughout their songs.
Backed by long-time friends and musical companions Jeff Porter, Steven Rankin, and Read Atkins, the Kimble brothers set out to bring the gospel of the Cosmic Honky-Tonk Droupouts to everyone and anyone who needs to hear it.
